sleep and washing dishes

Winter is officially here. Today my office reverts back to winter hours. I have been working from 8:30 till 5 every day. Now I am start work at 9:00 and work will 5:30. The strange thing is I felt I would have a difficult time making the transition back to these hours. I tend to get up between 6:30 and 7:00 every day of the week no matter what time I stay up to. I actually slept till 8:00 this morning, fifteen minutes before I actually needed to be up to get ready and make it to work in time.

I nearly sent my self to the emergency room last night. I was washing dishes and I was trying to get to the bottom of the glass. My hand just would not fit. The glass shattered and there was blood everywhere. I did not need stitches, but I did take a chunk of skin of my right ring finger. There are three hospitals in the GBA and I have done the tour of the emergency facilities. There is General Hospital witch I have had the pleasure of visiting twice both times to get stitches. The facilities are adequate. This would be my choice. Where I live all 3 are about equal distance from me. Then there is Lourdes. I also have been there for stitches. This is the nicest looking of the hospital. I just did not get the attention there that I thought I should get since I thought I was bleeding to death. The last is Wilson Hospital. I will never go there again. I severely sprained my ankle and went there. They put me in wheel chair and took some x-rays. They then put me in a room. By myself and told me to wait there. I ended up falling asleep. I woke up 45 minutes later and after a few minutes realized I had been sleeping for 45 minutes. It was hard to get mad because I had fallen asleep, but they had totally forgotten about me. They told me there had been a shift change. I got help immediately. (I guess if I was a democrat I would have thought to sue the hospital at the time.) I will never go back there for that reason.
